Tate attended Franklin Pierce High School in Parkland, Washington. and then she joined Central Washington University in Washington.
Relationships
Tate started dating mixed martial artist Bryan Caraway in 2006, and the couple separated in 2016. Later, she began a relationship with Johnny Nuñez in 2017, and they welcomed their first child a daughter Amaia Nevaeh Nunez in June 2018. She gave birth to their second child a son Daxton Wylder Nuñez on June 14, 2020.
Early Life & Career
Miesha played her debut match against Jan Finney and won 1-0 by referee decision in round 4. She began her career on television as a fighter on the sports television show UFC from All Angles Miesha Tate in 2014, and she played Jabs’s role in her debut film Fight Valley in 2016. She was named the Female Fighter of the Year at the MMA Awards in 2011. Tate is the winner of the bantamweight title in 2016 against Holly Holm, but she lost it in her next fight when she was against Amanda Nunes.
